Gunleik got skøyte on half Upp-Omnes in 1831 for 600 spd., and lose in residue in 1853. Gunleik Omnes was eager gardbrukar, and gjorde mykje nydyrking. The was særleg kornproduksjon he let vinn on. He purchase Vestigard Frøland farm, gnr. 74.3 in 1858-59, and Mosrygg farm in Gransherad in 1855, and såleis inherited they tri sons where (each) its farm after he. Dessutan purchase he Ørvella wood.
Gunleik T. Omnes was active kommunepolitikar, and spokesman from 1841 to 1843.
Torbjørn, oldest son, took over Omnes in 1867.
