OBITUARY- 1982
Theodore J. Johnson, Elroy, passed away Dec. 28 at his home, following a long illness. He was born Aug. 4, 1907 in the township of Fountain, the son of Knute and Sara Gullickson Johnson. He graduated from the New Lisbon High School in 1928. He was united in marriage to Thyla Nelson, July 12, 1933.
He was a member of Fountain Lutheran Church. He owned and operated the O. K. Auto Sales at Elroy and also a dealer for the Minneapolis Moline Implement Co.
He is survived by his wife, sons sons, Thomas, Marian, Iowa and Wayne, Dearborn Heights, Mich.; five grandchildren; four brothers, Elsmere and Hilbert, Elroy; Enoch, Mr. Morris, IL; and Floyd, Wilmington, IL; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Selma) Martin, Elroy. He was preceded in death by a son, Lionel, a brother, Leonard and a sister, Mrs. Hulda Kuflicki. Burial was in the Fountain Lutheran church cemetery.
