OBITUARY - 1978
Mrs. Huldah R. Kuflicki, 77, New Lisbon, passed away on Wednesday, March 29 at the Hess hospital after a long illness. (breast cancer)
She was the daughter of Knute Johnson and Sarah Gullickson Johnson and was born Dec. 28, 1898 in the town of Fountain. She was united in marriage to Roman J. Kuflicki on May 16, 1942 at E. Lemonweir parsonage. They made their home in Milwaukee until Oct. 3, 1969 when they moved to New Lisbon. She was a member of East Lemonweir Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roman; five brothers, Theodore, Elroy; Elsmere and Hilbert, New Lisbon; Floyd, Wilmington, Ill.; and Enoch of Mount Morris, Wis.; one sister, Mrs. Edward (Selma) Martin, R. 1, Elroy.
Funeral services were held Saturday at :00 p.m. at East Lemonweir Church. Visitation and a prayer service were held at the Hare Funeral Home on Friday evening.
The remains have been taken to Milwaukee where they were in state on Sunday at the max Sass Funeral Home from where services were held Monday at 10:00 a.m. Burial was in the family lot in St. Adalbert's cemetery in Milwaukee.

Miss Hulda Johnson, daughter of Mrs. Sarah Johnson of Fountain became the bride of Roman Kuflicke of Milwaukee on Saturday, May 16 (1942). The marriage vows were taken before Rev. S. A. Urberg at the parsonage at 7:00 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Martin, the bride's only sister, were their attendants. Following the ceremony, supper was served at the Edward Martin home at which the bride's immediate families were present. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Kuflicke returned to Milwaukee with the bride's brother, and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Johnson who were here for the wedding.
Hulda was 43 and Roman was 46 when they married.
